Mohawk couldn’t recover from a bad first half and dropped a 48-36 Section 2-AA contest to Riverside.

The Panthers (7-3, 12-8) jumped out to a 28-17 halftime lead, and while the Warriors (1-9, 4-14) kept it close in the second half, they couldn’t dig themselves out the hole.

Mohawk’s Tim Glass scored a team-best 13 points. Riverside’s Zac Rorick netted 10 of his 16 in the first half, while Jake Thellman scored 10 of his 16 in the second half.
