The Ellwood City Lincoln High boys basketball team got off to a slow start Saturday and couldn’t recover.
The Wolverines trailed by 21 points at halftime and dropped a 61-24 WPIAL Section 2-AAA home decision to Central Valley.
Ellwood City (0-6, 2-11) was shut out in the third quarter, 21-0.
Nick Ioanilli posted eight points to lead the Wolverines.
John George garnered a game-high 15 points for the Warriors (5-0, 11-1).
